PayCroft was born out of a simple observation: too many small businesses in rural communities are still stuck managing invoices with pen and paper, spreadsheets, or not at all. The technology that larger companies take for granted often feels out of reach for the local barber shop, the family-owned landscaping crew, or the independent contractor working out of a small town.

As a developer from a small town, I saw this firsthand. Friends, neighbors, and local business owners were spending hours every week on billing and bookkeeping instead of focusing on the work they actually love. The tools that existed were either too expensive, too complicated, or built for businesses ten times their size.

That's why I built PayCroft. It's designed to be simple enough that anyone can start using it in minutes, affordable enough for a one-person operation, and powerful enough to grow with your business.
